In an Alive article I read that half eyebrows was a symptom of some irregularity. I've forgotten the suggestion you made. Also, all during my reproductive years my periods were 6 weeks apart. I've been really healthy, but, I'm still breaking out in sweats - at 78! Is this a hormone imbalance? I heard that you will be speaking in Vernon in Sept. I would like to hear your lecture. Can you tell me when and where it is. Thank you, Pat Pauls

Hi Pat,

Lorna's lectures are all listed on this site under Lorna's Lectures- Lorna will be in Vernon on Sept 26th.

Losing half your eyebrows could be a sign of hypothyroidism. You will want to have your TSH test, it should be between .5 and 2. Anything over 2 could cause some problems.

You can try Menosmart Plus for your night sweats. Adrenasmart is also a good idea as the adrenal glands pick up the slack for the ovaries after menopause. Supporting them is very important.

Creating links

There are two ways of creating links:
  • [Example]( produces a link like this: Example
  • The fully qualified address, like, will automatically be converted to a link.

Formatting Text

  • You can make your text italic by surrounding it with * characters, *like this.*
  • Bold formatting is produced by surrounding your text with two stars, **like so**.
  • You can even ***use both at the same time***.

  • You can make a bulleted list using stars, like this:

    * First Item
    * Second Item
    * Third Item

  • If you want a numbered list, just write it out like this:
    1. First Item
    2. Second Item
    3. Third Item

You can produce headers for your posts using the '#' symbol.
  • '#Main Heading Example' produces a top level heading.
  • '##Sub Heading Example' produces a sub level heading.
  • '###Small Heading Example' produces a small heading.
